Live recording from the concert at Štuk, Maribor, Slovenia, in 1995.

The Ground Zero archives were salvaged from dusty, moth-eaten old compact cassette tapes, found forgotten in a drawer somewhere. To make matters even more interesting, the "Live @ Štuk" album was recorded directly from the mixer during a relatively non-sober concert, so forget about top-notch production by today's standards: some digital restoration has been attempted, but without a functional artificial intelligence with a knack for audio forensics, magically transforming this material into anything great-sounding will remain impossible. Nevertheless, we decided to "immortalise" these fine audio recordings by digitising them before they vanished forever.

GROUND ZERO (1993-1997) was a Slovenian rock 'n' roll band that gradually evaporated, without much clamour, twenty years ago. All the recordings that remain of it have been salvaged from forgotten old compact cassette tapes.
